New Apple Stuff is coming
OK, we have all heard the hype that Apple is releasing a new product. Is is a tablet? Well, sure it is. Heck, it would corporate suicide if Apple did not release a tablet. But I think there will be more. The big story is not tablets, iPhones and iPods - it is cloud based services. Jobs always said you need great software to go with great hardware. I would argue that today you need great cloud services to compliment the hardware/software. We will see tomorrow.

Apple's big annoucement for Jan 27th
There is a lot of speculation circulating around what Apple will be presenting on Jan 27th. Will it be a Tablet? Will it be iLife 2010? Will we see iPhone OS 4.0? Hell, who knows? This is Apple, people. The company who have a patent on "playing your cards close to your chest." After all the hype and circus tricks spreading through the Web, I think we can safely say that whatever we hear, we will be disappointed. Our expectations are simply too high.
Of course, I could be wrong :)

Great User Experience Presentation
How the user interfaces with a solution will determine if the solution is successful. A great example is the iPod - you can easily buy music (iTunes Store). sync music (iTunes) and listen to music (iPod). The presentation below is great: http://ping.fm/lUAuK

Microsoft is joning SVG working group and will support CANVAS in future
Looks like Microsoft is now going to support SVG (and they are talking about supporting 2D Canvas). This is great news for Web developers. Interestingly, MS tried to kill SVG with their own technology called VML about 10 years ago. I guess time can heal all wounds! A hearty welcome to MS and standards based Web development.
